Escalator Main Drive Unit

The main drive is a core power transmission component of an escalator. It transfers motor power to the step chain, which moves the escalator steps. Our escalator main drive unit provides strong load capacity and is suitable for escalators used in public transportation and high-traffic locations. The shaft diameter ranges from Ø92 to Ø150 mm. It is compatible with step widths of 600 mm, 800 mm, and 1,000 mm. Available materials include Q235B, 16Mn, HT250, and 45# steel. The drive sprocket radial runout remains within 0.6 mm after assembly, while the end face runout remains within 0.5 mm. This level of precision helps ensure smooth operation and reduce chain wear.
