The elevator counterweight sheave is mounted on top of the elevator counterweight frame. It supports the weight of the counterweight blocks and is connected to the traction system by steel ropes. Our elevator counterweight sheave is available in HT250 cast iron or MC nylon. The MC nylon version is lighter and easier to install. The outer diameter is available in Ø320, Ø360, Ø400, Ø420, and Ø450 mm. The Ø400 mm size is the most common choice. The rope groove count is typically 4, 5, or 6 grooves. The groove count can be selected to match different numbers of steel ropes. Available bearing models include 6210, 6213, 6215, 6313, and 6315.
